PhD candidate in Globalization Studies at NOVA FCSH. BA in Economics (NOVA SBE) and in Political Science and International Relations (NOVA FCSH), postgraduate in Cultural Management and Programming (ECATI-ULHT) and in Intelligence Management and Security (NOVA IMS) and MA in Political Science and International Relations (NOVA FCSH).

João Gaio e Silva

PhD candidate in Political Science at NOVA FCSH. Holds a Master's degree in Political Science and International Relations from NOVA University Lisbon (NOVA-FCSH, 2021). Their main research focuses on Populism, Political Representation, and Political Parties.

João Nunes

João Nunes joined the Department of International Relations at Universidad Pontificia Comillas in January of 2024. Previously (2014-2023), he was a Lecturer and then Senior Lecturer at the University of York, United Kingdom. In York, he also co-directed the Centre for Global Health Histories, a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre.

Doctorate in Sociology of Culture at the Universidade Nova (Lisbon), was professor at Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas. Author of texts in several areas, with collaboration in collective works.

Jorge Botelho Moniz

Research Associate at IPRI-NOVA and at the Centre for Research in Politics, Economics, and Society - CIPES, holds a PhD in Political Science from NOVA FCSH. Director of the Degree (BSc) in European Studies and International Relations and Assistant Professor at Lusófona University.

Jorge Tavares da Silva

Integrated researcher at IPRI-NOVA. Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of Beira Interior (UBI). His research interests focus on International Relations, Chinese Studies, The Taiwan issue.

José Alves

PhD candidate in International Relations at NOVA FCSH, where he is preparing a thesis on “The gendarmic dimension in the European Union. ESDP and CFSP”, under the supervision of Francisco Proença Garcia. His research interests include Security and Strategy.
