Graça Ermida
She holds a degree in Engineering from IST/University of Lisbon and a Master in Political Science and International Relations from the Institute of Political Studies- Universidade Católica. Her thesis analyzed the foreign policy of Turkey and its accession to the EU focused on European Energy Security.

Associated researcher, at IPRI-NOVA since 2005. Isabel is a PhD candidate in Comparative Politics at the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Lisbon, where she is preparing a thesis on authoritarianism and political reform in North Africa.

With a PhD in International Relations from the NOVA University of Lisbon, Joana is Assistant Professor of Politics and International Relations at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto (FLUP), integrated researcher at IPRI-NOVA, and member of the Planet Politics Institute (PPI).
João Cancela
Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Studies at NOVA FCSH since 2021. Previously, he was adjunct lecturer at the University of Minho (2017-2019), Phd scholarship holder from FCT (2013-2017) and policy officer at the High Commission for Migration (2012-2013).
