PhD candidate in International Relations at NOVA FCSH. Portuguese Air Force Lieutenant-Colonel, currently Squadron Commander of F-16’s 301st Squadron. Main area of interest security and defence, with two post-graduations in the Military University Institute, with investigation works in the domains of military operations and ciberdefence. Preparing a thesis on “NATO-EU Cooperation. Building a Holistic and Effective Cyberdefense”, under the supervision of António Horta Fernandes. His research interests include cyber-defense and NATO-EU cooperation.
