PhD candidate in International Relations at NOVA FCSH, conducting research on European migration & heritage conservation policies, from a feminist decolonial perspective, under the supervision of Teresa Ferreira Rodrigues and co-adviser Susana Ferreira (Complutense University of Madrid). Additional research focuses on issues of forced displacement, cultural heritage, restitutions & reparations. Maria Ejarque is also exploring in photography, cinema, curating and counter-archivism.
