FCT Postdoctoral Researcher at IPRI, University Nova of Lisbon. Before arriving to IPRI he has been Marie Curie Intra-European Fellow at the CNRS/EHESS in Paris, Juan de la Cierva Researcher at the University of Alcalá in Spain, and EURIAS/Clare Hall Visiting Fellow at CRASSH, University of Cambridge. He was awarded his PhD in History and Civilization from the European University Institute, Florence.
