Associated researcher at IPRI-NOVA, with a PhD in Political Science and Government from the University of Milan, Italy. His work focused on compliance with EU policies, the europeanization of national legislation, legislative studies and policy agendas. He published on various academic journals such as Party Politics, European Union Politics, Journal of European Public Policy, and South European Society and Politics. He sits at the Italian (since 2009) and Portuguese (since 2015) steering committees at the international research network Comparative Agendas Project (CAP, www.comparativeagendas.net).
