PhD student in Global Studies at FCSH/NOVA. Has a Graduate and Master's Degree in Sociology (FCSH/NOVA) in the field of expertise "Knowledge, Education and Society". Awarded with the FCSH Merit and Excellence Award - Best Graduates (2011-2012) and Best Master in Sociology (2014-2015). Teaches as Invited Assistant in the Department of Sociology of FCSH/NOVA since 2012. Throughout the academic career has collaborated in several research projects based at CICS.NOVA. Holds a FCT doctoral scholarship (PD/ BD/106023/2014), and the main subject of the PhD research is skilled migration and recognition of professional qualifications in the European Union.
