Integrated researcher at IPRI-NOVA, Patrícia is Associate Professor at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, Departments of International Relations and Law, and researcher at OBSERVARE - Observatory of External Relations. She is also a member of the United Nations International Law Commission, Director of the Legal Department of the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and has been previsouly legal advisor to the Permanent Representation of Portugal to the European Union in Brussels. Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, Patrícia completed her master and doctorate in International Law at the Institute for Higher International Studies in Geneva.
