Former political adviser to the Mayor of Lisbon, to the Minister of Defense, an to the Ministers of Parliament Affairs and State Reform. Invited Professor of Political Science and International Relations at Universidade Nova de Lisboa and ISCTE-IUL. Author of many articles in Análise Social, Portuguese Journal of Social Sciences, Ler História, Fórum Sociológico, Cadernos de Política Social ou Finisterra e nos Cadernos IDN.
