Associated Researcher at IPRI-NOVA and CEIS20 – Coimbra University. She has obtained her PhD in Contemporary African History by the University of Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne, in 2005. From 2001 to 2003 she taught at the Paris X – Nanterre University, in France. From 2004 and 2007 she taught at private institutions of higher studies in Cape Verde and from 2007 to 2013, she had a post-doctoral grant from the Ministry of Science in Portugal. Presently carrying out studies financed by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, the CODESRIA (Dakar) and the Cape Verde Jewish Heritage Project, she regularly collaborates with the CIDAC (Portugal) and with the Amílcar Cabral Foundation (Cape Verde).

History of the Liberation Movements in Africa.
