Secretary of State for Internal Administration at the XVIII Constitutional Government, (2009-2011), Civil Governor of Lisbon (2008-2009), General Secretary of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (2001-2008). Member of the Board of ALTICE PAY Company, Portugal Group and Member of the Board Directors at INESC- Institute of Systems and Computer Engineering (2018-2019).Currently Member of the Board of Lusitania Seguros SA, Grupo Montepio.
