This course addresses a crucial aspect for developing a robust research plan: the choice and understanding of the best methods that align with each researcher’s goals and theoretical approach. By presenting various methodologies, this course aims to clarify why some methods are more suitable than others, depending on the specific research questions and hypotheses of each participant.

Objectives:  This course introduces students to the basic assumptions about scientific knowledge and associated methodological principles. Upon completing the course, students will be able to link expectations and theoretical assumptions with appropriate methodological choices. Additionally, they will learn to evaluate the pros and cons of the main research methods.
