IPRI-NOVA deeply regrets the death of Luís Moita, Full Professor of International Relations at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa.
The civic and intellectual path of Luís Moita is marked by the Humanist side, by the opposition against the Estado Novo dictatorship and by the pioneering spirit in teaching and research in the scientific area of International Relations in Portugal.
Author of hundreds of scientific publications and communications, Luís Moita leaves an indelible legacy for debates on Ethics in International Relations, on the role of Inequalities and Justice in contemporary conflicts, and on Globalization and Peace Studies.
IPRI-NOVA pays homage to his memory, and conveys its deepest condolences to his family and friends.
