International Conference 50th anniversary of 25 de Abril: The international dimensions of the Portuguese transition
On the 50th anniversary of 25 April, IPRI-NOVA and the Orient Fundation organise an international conference on the international dimensions of the Portuguese transition. In addition to the international context, marked by the bipolar divide and the different faces of détente, various portraits will be presented on how the political change in Portugal was accompanied in different geographies, and the impacts of the revolution and transition on Portuguese foreign policy will be analysed.
