This course deals with a crucial aspect for the development of a robust research design: the choice and the understanding of the best method, which fits with one own’s research goals and theoretical approach. Rather than focusing on specific techniques, the course is meant to clarify why some methods are more suited than others, depending on particular research assumptions and questions.
