Is there a Place for the Ibero-American Area?

The VIII Ibero-American Network Conference (RIBEI), organized by CEI-IUL, in partnership with IPRI-NOVA and Real Instituto Elcano, will be held on 6-7 November, under the theme «Is there a Place for the Ibero-American Area?».
Formed by 45 research centers and think tanks specialized in the study of international relations, the RIBEI Network aims to analyze and debate the future of the Iberoamerican region and Latin America in the world, with a strategic perspective.
To give an appropriate context to this debate, the VIII International Conference of RIBEI will cover several issues as the new geopolitical scenario, development problems and the evolution of democracy, technological revolution, the future of transatlantic relations and the convergence options in face of the last political changes, to get a wider perspective.
The Conference will begin on November 6, at 9:00 a.m., in the J. J. Laginha Auditorium, at ISCTE-IUL. Free entry.
