German-Portuguese Expert Meeting

On the 4th and 5th of December 2017, the German-Portuguese Expert Meeting will take place in Lisbon on the topic of “The European Order”. This year’s event is jointly organized by the Portuguese Institute of International Relations (IPRI-NOVA) and the Institut für Europäische Politik (IEP) in Berlin, and primarily focuses on reforms of the Eurozone, as well as on reform initiatives of the European defence policy and transatlantic relations, and the EU-African relations.

As part of the regular meetings developed between the two institutes since 2013, the 'German Portuguese Forum', the meeting aims to promote mutual cooperation and understanding, as well as a coherent knowledge of the respective interests of the states regarding European reforms.
